This screwless switch plate is made from ultra-durable Polycarbonate Thermoplastic material for high levels of heat and impact resistance. The material is virtually indestructible, making it perfect for residential and commercial applications alike. This wall plate is also made with a silver ion additive to provide antimicrobial properties. Silver ions work on a cellular level, preventing the growth and survival of unwanted microorganisms such as mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria.
